2024 Goals
Philosophy Of...
We are starting with a new segment called ‘Philosophy of…’ in which we would be bringing forth the philosophies of some of the brilliant minds born over the millennia-old history of India. These include Chanakya, Kapila Muni, Charvaka, Goshala Maskariputra, Dharma-Vyadh, etc. belonging to various schools of thought such as the Jaina, the Vaidics, the Materialists, and more! The aim of this series is to show how vibrant and healthy the philosophical debates in India always has had! Our aim is to make six such videos!
Aurangzeb & Dara Shikoh
We are also bringing forth, this year, the story of Dara Shkoh & Aurangzeb, the elder brother of the Mughal Emperor, Aurangzeb. While Dara was a liberal, relatively pacifist, poetically philosopher prince, Aurangzeb was tyrannical, orthodox, and war-loving. We aim to capture their journey from childhood to a war between them and how it defined the course of the History of India. This will be a short series of six episodes, each close to 10 minutes in length.
Sangam Literature
Then we are also coming up with beautiful, touching poems from the most ancient Tamil Literature called the Sangam. We will be rendering the five ‘thinais’ i.e. themes of Sangam Literature into five stories that capture the essence, five different locations, new characters, their emotions, and the enchanting seasons that invoke them. Sangam is one the most important pieces of literature ever written in India and yet remains relatively less known. It's our deepest desire to make it more renowned among the people! This too will be a series of six with each video running 10 minutes in length.

Additionally, we will be bringing forth stories from Indian Literature, such as the Buddhist Cannons, the Upanishads, Puranas, etc. which hold relevance even in modern times! We have meticulously selected stories that can showcase different genres, styles of writing, cultural influences, etc. providing us with a broad picture of Indian imagination across its languages, historic periods, and regional cultures!
